2026 eBay fees used here

Under managed payments there is no separate payment processing fee — it is folded into the final value fee. The standard 2026 rate for most categories is 13.6% of the total sale amount (item price + buyer-paid shipping), up from 13.25% in early 2025. A flat per-order fee of $0.40 applies to orders over $10 ($0.30 at $10 or under). Category exceptions: books/DVDs/music ~14.95%, collectibles ~15%, guitars & basses ~6.35%. Store subscribers (Basic and above) pay roughly 7% less on the variable rate. Promoted Listings cost whatever ad rate you set (1–20%), charged only on attributed sales.

Frequently asked questions

Is the final value fee charged on shipping too?
Yes. eBay calculates the final value fee on the total sale amount — item price plus the shipping you charge the buyer. Pricing the item at $1 with $50 shipping does not avoid fees.
Do eBay Store subscribers really pay less?
Yes. Basic store and above pay a lower variable final value rate (roughly 7% less than the no-store rate in most categories) plus bigger free-listing allowances. The calculator applies an approximate discount — check Seller Hub for your exact rate.
What is the per-order fee?
A flat fee on every completed order: $0.40 for sales over $10, $0.30 for sales of $10 or under. It applies on top of the percentage final value fee.
When do I pay the Promoted Listings fee?
Only when a buyer clicks your promoted listing and buys within the attribution window. Your chosen ad rate (1–20%) is charged as a percentage of the item's sale price, excluding shipping.
Is there still a separate PayPal fee on eBay?
No. Since managed payments, payment processing is folded into the final value fee — there is no separate PayPal or processing charge on top.
